The high cost of having children
Most expectant parents will ask themselves, at one time or another: ‘How much do children cost?’
It is a hard question to answer and one that will depend very much on an individual’s circumstances and wishes for their child. However, two companies – LV and Aviva – have separately tried to come up with a figure this week and calculate that it costs £210,000 to £270,000 to bring up a child to the age of 21.
