Tracey contacted me last week as her pet insurance claim was rejected because it was considered as ‘pre existing’.

I hope you can give me some advice.

I have a 5 year old German Shepherd dog who has recently been diagnosed with Hip dysplasia and bad arthritis in both hind legs and knees. Problems have only arisen this year when he had to have xrays for lameness, which is when we were told of the condition. SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Life insurers are facing a barrage of investigations and criticism over the way the industry pays death benefits for veterans and other federal employees. But some analysts think it’s a lot of fuss about nothing.

The industry is being investigated after Bloomberg Markets magazine analysts at FBR Capital Markets, questioned the outcry on Thursday.

“We find the very sharp and rapid regulatory response to this surprising and apparently unfounded,” they wrote in a note to investors.

Flight Insurance Proves Valuable During Extreme Turbulence

Have you considered buying a flight insurance policy, but figured the odds of being in a plane crash were so remote that you did not need it? As passengers on a recent flight from Washington D.C. found out, there is more than one way for injuries to occur on a flight, which means there is more than one reason to buy flight insurance.

The flight in question was a United Airlines flight headed for Los Angeles. Around the halfway point of the flight, severe weather lead to a bout with some rather extreme turbulence, causing injuries to passengers who were moving about the plane and others who were not buckled in.

In all, 21 passengers suffered injuries from the incident.
